Attention all Units, Districts and Department Officers & Program Chairmen – please send me items for the website on get-togethers, events you are doing, fundraisers and photos of you in action! It is so helpful to all of us if we can post and share what is happening and others can get some good ideas, even those ALA members from out-of-state who view our website. We have lots of business items on the website but we need fun items too! Please send only as a document (.doc) or scanned (.pdf), please do not send in Google Documents as they are more difficult to upload. For photos, (.jpg) please, and I do not take photos off of Facebook, so please send them to me in an email as an attachment if possible. Also, I would like all to go to our website, www.alactdept.weebly.com and see our new logo from ALA National. I placed it on the front page with our historic emblem logo. Here it is below.
Just a reminder to please use our website as a source of information on our Programs, upcoming news and events, important information from our Department Officers and more. If your Unit is hosting a fundraiser or promoting an event, please let me know so we can help to spread the information to others.
