MARCHING FORWARD IN FAITH is the message from our National Chaplain (2023-2024) Blister Thomas, as she reminds us of the command “Forward March” and what it can mean to our Auxiliary members.
“As ALA members, let us use this month to renew our commitment to service and to each other. Whether in supporting veterans empowering youth, or uplifting our communities, let our actions be a testament to the enduring power of faith in action”.
So, let us march forward with purpose, fueled by the flame of faith that burns within each of us.
LET US MARCH FORWARD IN MARCH”

As the month of February is often thought of as the month of caring and remembering (Valentine’s Day, President’s Day, etc.), let us take this time to remember this prayer:
For Understanding Others.
“May my understanding grow today and be a blessing making me closer to everyone I meet, everyone I see.
I value differences forged in the fires of our experience.
Dancing my dance of life, I am growing in understanding as I honor
and celebrate the diverse life dances of others.
Amen”

As we begin a NEW year (2024), let us strive to be strong in spirit as we
each personally resolve and pray:
Make us strong in spirit, courageous in action, and gentle of heart. Let
us meet others with compassion and be a source of healing energies while we
face each day with hope and joy.
Let us meet this new year with determination to help our veterans in
every way possible.

This November (and every day), let us be thankful, thankful for the bounty of food on our tables, the shelter of our homes, the daily lives we live and the friends and family who have touched our lives to make us whole.
Let us help all those who are less fortunate than ourselves, be it by lending a hand, or giving a smile. It is the little things that make our lives beautiful.
Blessings of love, health and happiness to one and all. May you have all that you need and be happy with what you have. As always, we are thankful for our veterans.

As autumn approaches, let us take delight in the beauty of nature that surrounds us. Let us bask in our own beauty and bring that to our own meetings as we work for our veterans and their families and for our communities. Always remember that peace and harmony accomplish more than strife and indifference. Many blessings abound and smiles be in abundance. We can accomplish great things together and togetherness starts with YOU.
September begins a new year for ALA. A big warm welcome to President Jenn. May she and all the officers and chairmen have an outstanding year. Heavenly Father, we ask that you bless Madam President Jenn, her committees and officers and wish them great success in this coming year.
